1. Content Guidelines
1.1 Common Guideline
To keep Kuqus safe, fun, and fair, all users must follow these rules:
🚫 Do Not:
- Upload copyrighted content without explicit permission
- Share any personal/private info that can result in doxxing, stalking, or law violations
- Upload identifiable media of private individuals (e.g., classmates, neighbors, non-public figures)
- Post nudity or NSFW content, including cropped images from explicit sources
- Harm or target any individual, group, ethnicity, religion, or nationality
✅ Allowed:
- Upload content involving public figures or fictional characters when such use is transformative, commentary-based, or within fair use / parody boundaries
- Use media that you own, have licensed, or have rights to share
- Create respectful, fair surveys for comparison and insight
1.2 User-Generated Content (UGC)
Kuqus allows users to upload and share content such as images, names, and survey prompts. You retain ownership of the content you upload but are solely responsible for ensuring it does not violate the rights of others.
By uploading content, you grant Kuqus a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to host, display, distribute, and reproduce your content as necessary to operate and improve the platform.
Kuqus does not pre-screen UGC and acts solely as a neutral host. We do not claim ownership of any copyrighted materials users upload.
If you believe any content on Kuqus infringes your copyright, please follow our takedown process as outlined below.
1.3 Copyright Infringement & Takedown Requests
Kuqus respects the intellectual property rights of others. If you believe that any content on our platform infringes your copyright, you may submit a takedown request via email to [email protected] with the following details:
- Your full legal name and contact info
- A clear description of the copyrighted work
- The exact URL or ID of the infringing content
- A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use is not authorized
- A statement that the information is accurate, under penalty of perjury
Once a valid request is received, we will investigate and remove the content if necessary.
Repeated or false claims may result in account restrictions.
Kuqus complies with applicable safe harbor provisions under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. § 512) and similar international regulations.
2. AI-Generated Content Policy
🧠 What's OK:
- AI images from platforms that respect copyright, such as those trained on licensed or public domain data (e.g., Adobe Firefly)
- Stylized or abstract AI content that doesn't resemble real people, brands, or copyrighted IP
🚫 What's Not OK:
- Deepfakes or AI recreations of real individuals without consent
- AI content that imitates brands, copyrighted characters, or art styles from unlicensed sources
- Any AI-generated nudity or sexually suggestive content
💡 If you suspect a survey is using AI content from a platform that violates copyright, and you can reasonably identify and prove the origin, we'll take it seriously. We'll review and act accordingly.
When in doubt, stick with platforms that respect creators and IPs.
3. Reporting & Enforcement
- All users can report copyrighted, AI-generated, or inappropriate content through our reporting system.
- Users can report 1 survey per day to prevent mass reporting abuse.
- Categories of reports:
- Copyright Violation
- AI Content Violation
- Inappropriate Content (e.g., nudity, offensive language)
- Personal Info Violation (e.g., doxxing)
- If the report is deemed invalid (e.g., false reports), it will be dismissed and not affect the survey.
Reports are reviewed, and if necessary, action will be taken, including survey takedown, suspension, or other enforcement.
4. Authentication & Account Integrity
By using our service, you (Caster) agree to authenticate only through trusted OAuth2 providers (Google, Facebook, GitHub). We do not support credentials (password) logins, and we never store your password.
User Account Identity
You are responsible for managing access to your third-party OAuth accounts. When registering or logging in:
- Only minimal profile data (email, name, provider ID) is stored
- One OAuth provider account (
sub) can be associated with only one app account - Attempts to bind a new OAuth provider must not conflict with emails already used in the system
- You may change your primary email address by selecting from your linked OAuth accounts. However, the primary OAuth account cannot be unlinked.
- Your primary email is used to verify purchases.
We reserve the right to reject binding requests that would compromise account uniqueness or impersonate another user.
This system ensures:
- Proper ownership of each login method
- Safe aliasing across providers
- Prevention of account duplication or takeover
5. Liability & Responsibility
- You are solely responsible for the content you upload, submit, or generate on Kuqus. This includes ensuring that any images, names, or prompts do not violate copyright, trademark, or personality rights.
- Kuqus is not liable for user-uploaded content but will act swiftly upon legitimate reports
- Content that violates terms may be removed without prior notice
6. Amendments
We may update our terms, privacy, or cookie policies at any time. Continued use of Kuqus constitutes agreement with the latest version.
